Look at The World’s Very First Real Hoverboard Technology

A video with a time duration of almost two minutes garners more than 5,000,000 views on YouTube becomes viral.

This video shows a man, riding what seems to be a black skateboard hovering over the floor. Yes, everyone, it’s the real thing.

Tony Hawk, a well-known American former professional skateboarder and actor, and Dave Carnie, a former editor-in-chief of Big Brother Magazine and current writer for numerous publications, try on the very first hoverboard that can make everyone fell jealous and wish for one.

The beginning of the video shows Hawk and Carnie introducing themselves and telling the viewers what to expect—them riding the hoverboard.

Here we see Anthony Frank “Tony” Hawk, nicknamed “The Birdman”, and Dave Carnie have a blast riding and falling off the hoverboard.

Jill Henderson, CCO and co-founder of Arx Pax stated that the two wanted the hoverboard and their dreams are slowly turning to reality.

CEO and co-founder of Arx Pax as well as the hoverboard’s inventor, Greg Henderson also commented that the hoverboard is a great way to capture people’s interests and letting them know how technology works in a way that they could understand.

According to their website, Arxpax.com, Greg envisioned a way to employ an unexploited technology in ways others had not.

Though this is one of the first tastes of what seems to be a highly technological future, the idea of having a man or woman gliding effortlessly through the air has captured imaginations of man ever since in 1989’s Back to the Future Part II where Michael J. Fox hopped on a hoverboard.

Apparently, this hoverboard’s name is Hendo, named after Greg.

Henderson said that he got his inspiration for the invention from the Loma Prietra earthquake.

Greg also added that he believes hover technology could solve a lot of serious problems, perhaps raising a building during an earthquake someday.
